*Veterans and active service members receive free admission between V-E Day (May 8) and V-J Day (August 15) thanks to support from the Harry Portman Charitable Trust, UMB Bank, n.a., Trustee.
Groups of 15 or more are eligible for a group discount; guided tours may be requested with a four-week advance reservation. Learn more

There is no admission charge to visit the Museum Store.
Map & Driving Directions
From KCI Airport: East and south on I-435 (Kansas City’s circumferential highway) about 32 miles, to U.S. 24 (Independence Avenue), and then east approximately 4 miles; destination will be on your left. From the north: I-35 to I-435 east then travel south to U.S. 24 east. Travel approximately 4 miles; destination will be on your left.
Directions Using GPS
For those using a GPS device for locating the Library and Museum, please note that the Library and Museum entrance is off 24 Highway (Independence Avenue). Some GPS devices will not accept 24 Highway, so we suggest entering Independence Avenue instead. We are bordered on the west by Delaware Street and on the east by Pleasant Street.
Parking is free for Museum visitors. Free motorcoach parking is also available.
The Harry S. Truman Library and Museum is wheelchair accessible. For your convenience, wheelchairs and strollers are available on a first come, first served basis.
