Harry S. Truman Library & Museum
CLOSED FOR RENOVATION: The Truman Library is in the midst of a massive renovation of the museum and its exhibitions, the first major renovation in more than 20 years and the largest since the museum opened its doors in 1957. The National Archives has closed the Research Room due to Covid-19 restrictions through the end of 2020. In the meantime, explore the collections online here.

From KCI Airport: East and south on I-435 (Kansas City’s circumferential highway) about 32 miles, to U.S. 24 (Independence Avenue), and then east approximately 4 miles; destination will be on your left. From the north: I-35 to I-435 east then travel south to U.S. 24 east. Travel approximately 4 miles; destination will be on your left.
Parking
Parking is free for Museum visitors. Free motorcoach parking is also available.

The Harry S. Truman Library and Museum is wheelchair accessible. For your convenience, wheelchairs are available on a first come, first served basis.
